Impressive, but makes you think how harmful all that is to the environment... :( Do you know what type of plant is it? Tho, those they all have their own specific charm, with the size and of course the ominous clouds hovering above... Great pic!

Thanks :) It covered so much of the surroundings in a low cloud, it was quite a site to see!

They're only cooling towers so its just steam coming out of there :) Its a power station so there will be some environmental effect but not through the steam you can see :)

Yeah, that's true, but they still look ominous... lol :D And, yup, there still will be environmental effects, are they using some lake nearby for water? I'd assume it's some nuclear, or fossil fuel plant. Anyway, thanx for the previous response. :)

The contrast is amazing, the side on the right looks quite peaceful, while the left side has something apocalyptic, which looks like its assimilating the peace.

 Yes, i see the contrast between the two sides too, with the sun to the right it created deep shadows to the smoke clouds and landscape to the right :)

Thanks dear for the great comment!

This is great. The contrast between the high clouds in the background and the plumes of steam, and the low lying foggy stuff. This would be an easy shot to blow out the sky, or lose all detail in the ground, so it's impressive to retain detail in both. If anything I'd have liked a little more sharpness, but then that's my thing! Makes climbing the Wrekin worthwhile. ;)
