Montmartre, the artists quarter.

Behind us stood a sign with directions to the Dali Museum, infront sat Dali himself. Well, a pretty good likeness!

I just love all the different people in this shot, from the waiter in the background to the woman tourist watching her partner have his charictature done. I loved the whole atmopshere of the artsists quarter, even all the tourists!

well, the persons might be interesting but I think this photo is a bit too crowded. Too many people on too less room... I still like it, if you keep looking at it for a certain time you see all the detail but it takes time. All those persons deserve a photo on their own, they all are posing and looking interesting. hmmm.. it would have been better without sign & woman on the right I guess... however - still a very nice photo and smooth b&w!

I think sometimes busy photos work too. I did mess around with the cropping to test it out but I loved all the characters in this one so I couldn't crop any out, especially the woman. I like the way shes gazing happily at her husband having the portraiture done. Plus it portrays the atmopshere as it was, a mix of different people and constant hussle and bussle :D
