The British Museum, London

version 2 with the fisheye: [link]

The museum was crowded with people at times. Luckily on my 10th attempt (I'm guessing here) there weren't any people on the stairs so I snapped away :)

its almost definately (without reading) against the rules of the contest, but you could easily paint those people out, to make it even better. in saying that though, it is very nice...but i want to see more of the ceiling.

</mildly constructive>
I like the people being there. it gives it a sense of reality rather than a digital scenary. It also shows the fact its a real symmetry and not mirrored in photoshop :) Sadlyt you can't see more of the ceiling there as there's the bloody top of the roof thing where I shot this from. i had to crop it out of the frame. There are other shots I took at ground level with the celing so look out for those. This shot was specifically focused on the steps and centre of the building and not the roof :)

Thanks :)

thats cool. i imagine it is a pretty hard place to photograph to get everything in...but then if you didn't want to then bleh.

wow, awesome photo

i love it, shame about the people though.

Why not clone them out?
